Fur Care

Full-Body Fur Direction

  1. Your new arrival may have a small amount of residual loose fur — this is completely normal. Just give them a gentle RUA~ and it'll be fine.
  2. The body and limbs need to be brushed following the direction of the fur.
  3. Use a "wooden-handled single-row steel-tooth grooming comb" (or a firm toothbrush as a substitute) and brush in the direction of the fur.

Head Brushing

  1. The facial brushing direction differs from the body. Brush outward from the center of the plush baby's eyes:
    · Forehead: brush upward
    · Outer eye area: brush toward the sides
    · Inner eye area: brush toward the center
    · Below the nose: brush downward
  2. Loose fur tends to accumulate around the nose. After brushing, gently press down to tidy up — just make sure the stray fur doesn't cover the nose.
  3. Take care to keep the mouth visible during brushing.
  4. The baby's eyes are easily scratched, so please be especially careful!

Cleaning

Tools Needed

Foaming cleanser + tissues + hairdryer + comb + makeup brush/blush

Steps

  1. Apply alcohol-free cleansing foam, wipe and care for the plush, then pat dry with tissues.
  2. Use a children's hairdryer (cool air setting) to briefly blow-dry and style.
  3. Comb fur until smooth.
  4. Dress and apply blush.

Teddy Parents, please note:

*Deep cleaning is not recommended.*

For daily maintenance, simply use a slightly damp towel to gently dust off any loose particles from your plush baby's fur. As we continue to uphold the traditional hand-stuffed teddy bear technique to give your little one that supportive, structured feel, the body is quite firm and slightly stiff to the touch.

Here's a little secret: plush babies don't actually enjoy baths. So after washing, be sure to give your sweet-smelling little one a big hug to praise their bravery!

Proper Storage

A Cozy Home for Your Baby

  • Daily display: Place on a clean, well-ventilated nightstand or bookshelf; avoid squeezing or distortion.
  • Long-term storage: Store in a large dust-proof bag to prevent dust accumulation. Do not use vacuum compression bags — they will destroy the fluffiness.
  • Avoid contact with: Perfumes, cosmetics, and oily substances — these will stain the fabric and are extremely difficult to clean.
  • Regular checks: Even if not frequently handled, take your baby out once a month to inspect its condition.

Let Your Baby Breathe

  • Regular ventilation: On sunny days, place your baby in a shaded balcony area for 1–2 hours to remove moisture and odors.
  • Avoid direct sunlight: UV rays will cause color fading and fabric stiffening — never expose to harsh sun.
  • Desiccant packets: Place a few moisture-absorbing packets nearby when storing to prevent dampness and mold.
  • Keep away from heat sources: Avoid radiators and air conditioning vents — high temperatures will damage the resilience of the filling.
